Permanent Make-Up Process

Permanent make up or cosmetic tattooing is the process of applying pigment under the skin. This is similar to traditional tattooing and typically performed on women wishing to enhance the shape of eyes, improve definition of eyebrows and define lips.

Does it hurt?

Topical anesthetics have been developed for permanent make up. This cream can be applied to desired area before and during the procedure to assure you of the most comfortable experience. It is dermatologist tested and safe.

Do I have a choice of colour and shape?

We will not start any treatment until you are totally happy with the chosen colour and shape. What will it looks after procedure and healing process? Immediately after treatment the will appear slightly darker but the healing process takes Approximately 6~8 weeks. During this time your tattoo will soften and lighten. The colour finishes flaking off and new skin under neath appears softer and less visible be patient and after 6 weeks you will come in for your follow up appointment and can find adjustment.

How long will my permanent make up last?

Usually last 2 ~5 years depending on your age, skin type and the main factor exposure to uv rays from the sun or tanning beds.

Before your appointment

Before you come in for procedure, alcoholic beverage, Advil(ibuprofen), Asprin and any other blood-thinners can cause unnecessary bleeding during your permanent make up application, avoid drinking or taking medication at least and day prior to your procedure. Bring your favourite eyebrow pencil,eyeliner or lipstick to the consultation. If you use to contact lenses and you are coming in for eyeliner plan to wear glasses the day of the procedure, keep in mind that it may take two visits to obtain the desired look. The initial treatment and a perfection visit. The perfection visit should take place 6 weeks to two months later.

After your appointment

Swelling of the treated region occurs, but it typically subsides within a few hours, icing and applying the prescribed ointment will help alleviate the swelling. The colour will likely appear much darker in the first couple of weeks following the procedure, but will fade over time to a softer version of it self.
